Dr. Tang Xianyan, a lecturer in Dept. of epidemiology & biostatistics of Guangxi Medical University, has worked as a visiting scholar in University of Franche-Comté and French Center for Disease Surveillance with the funding of XU Guangqi Program in 2011. In 2013, he received the financial support from China Medical Board (CMB) Rural PhD Training program to pursue doctoral degree at Prince of Songkla University in Thailand.He focuses on spaito-temporal epidemiology and statistics, research methodology, as well as health policy and systems research in Guangxi, particularly in deprived rural areas.He worked as the principal investigator of CMB-OC project,NSFC grant, research project from Guangxi provincial natural science foundation, innovation project of Guangxi graduate education and Guangxi provincial higher education reform project.Currently, he has pulished 24 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author.Publications:(1) Tang XY, Zhou HX.
